Pinterest Inspiration.

To say things have been busy over here is a bit of an understatement. Hence, the radio silence.

I’m in full-scale “operation nursery” mode so until I get a few things nailed out with that, it’s a bit chaotic. I have four months to get it finished. FOUR.

(Cue nervous laughter.)

Anyway, today I’m going to share with you a few of my favorite Pinterest finds of late. You all know I love great organizational tip so here’s what I’ve seen recently. Oh, and make sure to click on the links for the pictures below to show those blogs some love. Chances are they’ll have lots more tips to share when you get there.

Let’s get started!

If you’re a baker, you’ll love this tip. How cute is that?!

Tip found { here }.

I have a feeling this laundry room would come in handy in about four months. I’m constantly surprised by how much laundry TWO people can have, let alone a newborn.

Tip found { here }.

I don’t know about you, but I’m always digging through pans to find the one I need. With this, problem solved.

And lastly, I could use this more than you could ever know. Pregnancy brain is a real issue people.

How To: Jewelry Wall, Part 1.

It’s Monday! Normally I’m not too excited about Monday morning, but today I get to continue sharing all of my fun closet projects so that makes me one happy girl. I’m seriously having so much fun sharing ideas and hearing all of your positive feedback. You guys are too kind!

In case you missed anything from last week, check out the {closet reveal}, {$15 organization tip} and {how to build a closet shelf} at each of those links.

As promised last week, today kicks off a series on how to build a wall of jewelry. Every time I type wall of jewelry I pretend it’s being said in a loud booming announcer’s voice. It’s much more fun that way. Or every time you read that phrase in this post, take a sip of coffee. Wall of jewelry, wall of jewelry, wall of jewelry. See? More fun.

For this project all you’ll need is a picture frame (any size) with the glass removed, and a piece of chicken wire. I looked high and low for the best place to buy chicken wire (err, I checked at Home Depot where they only sold large sheets) and on my second stop found that Ace Hardware sells it off the roll. You can have them cut it to size for you and it only cost around $2 for the sheet below.

Take the chicken wire and simply pop it into the back of the frame where you would normally put the glass. If you cut it the correct size, which is just slightly larger than the opening, you can bend the prongs to grip the back edges of the frame. Once it’s popped in, it’s not going anywhere!

Flip it around and start adding earrings! This whole project takes less than 5 minutes. Even my thinks-she’s-craft-challenged-but-she’s-not mother could do it. (Hi mom!)

When I first saw this idea floating around on Pinterest, I had no clue just how easy and in-expensive this project would be. Aren’t those the best kind of projects though?

So that’s where the wall of jewelry started. If you think this part was easy, check back tomorrow. I have a project for under $10 that will rock your world. Seriously.

What about you guys? Tackle any projects of your own this weekend?

Dream Houses.

Today I’m daydreaming about houses.

Something with a big front porch,

and lots of character.

Maybe tucked in the woods,

or on a plot of land with a couple chickens to spare.

It would definitely have Southern charm,

where drinking sweet tea on the porch after church is a must.

Sigh. A girl can dream, right?

What’s your dream house look like?

Pinterest Party.

If I was going to have a party…

I’d hang pretty lanterns everywhere,

and make sure to have lots of pretty flowers.

There would be a whole table of delicious drinks to try…

and we’d sip them out of mason jars.

We’d dine on these adorable little tomatoes,

and stuff ourselves silly on ridiculously good looking burgers.

And when we’re full on good food and conversation, I’d bring out these cuties,

along with a shot of milk and cookies.

Milk & Cookie shooters.

Who wants to come to my party?

P.S. Need help planning a party? I can help with decor, invitations, food…pretty much

every single detail. You have the fun, and let me handle the rest!

of these pictures, there are some pretty talented folks out there! }

Inspired.

It’s Monday, so I’m feeling more than a little inspired for the week ahead. Here’s a few fun projects that I would love to tackle!

(All images were borrowed from my Pinterest page.)

How clever?! I want to make this mug for my husband who has an unnatural obsession with mustaches. What is it with guys and facial hair?

I love these cute little soap dispensers! I’m keeping my eye out for some vintage bottles so hopefully I can make something similar one day.

I need a cute front door, ASAP. Something fun and a little different like this wreath.

These spoons would look fantastic in my herb garden. Need. To. Make.

So many projects, so little time. Anyone working on anything fun right now?

Oh, Baby.

In the past few months, I’ve gone from not having any close friends who are pregnant, to having a few that are now expecting. That, my friends, is very good news for me. Why? Well, now I can shop for cute baby clothes and look at all the sweet nursery pictures I want! (And trust me, I’m taking full advantage of every opportunity for all things baby.) Since I’ve been scouring Pinterest for nursery inspirations, I thought I’d share what I’ve found! All of these images were found on Pinterest. (Told y’all it rocked.)

How sweet is this nursery? I love that it feel so calming. It looks like the perfect spot to rock a baby to sleep.

This room looks like a really cool kid would live in it. You know, the eclectic “I-don’t-listen-to-main-stream-music-because-I-only-go-to local-coffee-shops-to-hear-bands-that-play-songs-about-raindrops-and-eat-tofu” type kid. See, cool.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, this incredibly bright room looks like a kid’s dream. I wouldn’t translate it exactly as I see here, but it definitely has fun elements like the Ferris wheel toy box.

I ADORE these windows! There’s just something so “Father-of-the-Bride-Part-2″ about window seats. Anyone else remember the dreamy nursery from that movie?

I’m not a huge fan of the dark brown furniture in this picture, but the wall behind the crib is so fun!

In all of my “pinning”, I never saw a brighter nursery than this one. I think it has every color of the rainbow! I love the curtains, the light fixture and the rug. Oh, and the pops of yellow and turquoise. Oh, and some of the art. Ok, you get it. I like this nursery.

I actually found these lamps at TJ Maxx (where else?) and thought they would look so cute in a little girl’s room. Gah, they make the best stuff for kid’s!

And finally, you’re daily dose of cuteness for the day. This post wouldn’t really be “Oh, Baby” without an actual baby now would it?

P.S. If you’re expecting and need some help with your nursery, give me a call! I promise, your baby will thank me.

Pinterest.

If you haven’t heard about Pinterest, go ahead and get out your calendar. You’ll want to allow for 3+ hours a day to do nothing but sit in front of your computer and obsess about this site.

Trust me, I’m serious. This is the most addicting site I’ve ever been a part of. Even more so than Facebook. (Yes, more than Facebook.) I never thought it was possible either, but this site is just that good.

I’m not going to get into a detailed explanation of it in this post because my friend Meghan over at Loquacious Lady already did that { here }. Head on over there to read all about the goodness that is Pinterest!

Then, you can follow me { here } and see where I get so much of my inspiration.

Happy pinning!
